Just heard this morning of the passing of Stereophile columnist Art Dudley. His columns were always favourite reads of mine. His humour ,wit and humanity would always shine through in his writing....even though they were supposedly reviews of a piece of audio equipment, his take on life and living would often infuse the review causing me to smile and nod in agreement. His old magazine "Listener" was something I always sought out in book and magazine stores, just because it was always a fun read..entertaining and informative, but also "joyful", because I believe Mr. Dudley couldn't believe he was being paid to write about something he was truly passionate about...Music and the equipment used to listen to it on. He will be surely missed.
