Fortified by Cambridge's proprietary S3 servo transport and an audiophile-caliber toroidal transformer, the single-speed CXC is quiet, efficient, and painstakingly accurate. Featuring state-of-the-art error correction, CXC recovers profound detail from your discs and provides illustriously defined, soulfully nourishing musical experiences. For Optimal Performance, Pair CXC With a Cambridge Audio CXA Integrated Amp
Designed specifically for the CX Series, CXC delivers stunning CD playback and works in perfect harmony with the Cambridge CXA60 and CXA80 integrated amplifiers as well as other high-end DACs. With no digital to analogue conversion in the CXC, when used in conjunction with CX Series amplifiers, CXC outputs the CD signal in digital form from the player to the amplifier, using the high-quality Wolfson DAC in a CXA amplifier for the crucial digital to analogue conversion stages.
